About us
About us
Akhira was founded by Ratchaneekorn Vichayanon. After a dance career in Thailand, she came to The Netherlands in 2005 and started dancing on events, parties, weddings all over Europe.
The performances are never the same. We use different music, costumes and props, like bamboo, long nails, parasols and fans. We design a unique show for every occasion.
Besides solo dance we work with other dancers in different combinations and we can organize group dance performances with up to 20 dancers on stage. A combination of Thai dance and live music is also possible.
Right now we are expanding Akhira to be a booking agency for Thai artists all over Europe. Not only dance and music, but also for example fruit carving, Thai Boxing demonstrations (Muay Thai), Thai make-over photography and much more. Soon to be seen on this website!

About Ratchaneekorn
Ratchaneekorn studied Thai and modern dance at the renowned dance academy "Nathasin", located near the famous temple complex Wat Prakaew (Grand Palace) in Bangkok.
She performed throughout Thailand in many productions, both classical and modern. One of her dance highlights was the spectacular Thai dance performance for the 75th birthday of King Phumibol of Thailand, in which more than 200 dancers performed along the Chaophraya river.
She has also appeared in numerous music videos of famous Thai artists such as Cristina Aguila, James and Sonram. She was seen weekly on TV as a dancer in "Ching Roi Ching Lan", the most popular game show in Thailand.
Since February 2005 she has lived in The Netherlands and dances at events, trade fairs, parties, weddings and galas.
In the summer of 2008 she won first prize for both solo dance and group dance at the only Thai Dance Competition in Europe, in the Kurpark of Bad Homburg, Germany.
